The 2010 International BMW Motorrad GS Trophy challenge culminated in a nail-biting three-way tie on Sunday, with team GB eventually emerging victorious from the scrum.
Amateur GS riders Alastair Allan, Mark Kinnard, and Kevin Hammond saw off the competition on their F 800s in the form of team Scandinavia and home team South Africa with just one point in it.
The gruelling eight-day competition saw 10 teams of riders from all over the world battling it out over 2,000km of tough African terrain, covering South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique in temperatures exceeding 35ÂșC.
